We'll be wearing red and white, with bridesmaids in rose gold, so please avoid those colours. Pastels and soft tones with flowery patterns recommended.

English Traditions
Ring Exchange
We'll exchange rings during the ceremony as a symbol of our eternal commitment and love for each other. Alongside the ring exchange, we will honor a Vietnamese tradition: the bride's parents will gift us jewelry, as a symbol of love, blessing and family.
Toasts & Speeches
Family and friends will share heartfelt speeches and toasts during the wedding breakfast to celebrate our union. A small glass of Vietnamese rice wine (rượu) will be included in the toasts to honor both cultures. Please note drinks are not included with the meal, but will be available to purchase at the restaurant.
Cake Cutting & First Dance
We'll share our first dance as a married couple, followed by dancing and celebration with all our guests.
Vietnamese Traditions
Tea Ceremony
A traditional tea ceremony where we serve Vietnamese tea to first our families, receiving their blessings and officially joining our families. Then there will be tea served to the remaining guests.
Red & Gold Colors
Traditional Vietnamese wedding colors symbolizing luck, prosperity, and happiness - incorporated into our decorations and attire.
Gifts
Guests traditionally give money in red envelopes (lì xì) as wedding gifts, symbolizing good fortune for our new life together. Alternatively, if you would like to give a gift, we accept contributions to our honeymoon fund (details in the Gifts section).

Please arrive 15 minutes before the ceremony begins to allow time for greetings. The ceremony starts promptly at 11:45 AM.

There are several large car parks in Leeds city centre which can be used. We recommend using public transport or taxis where possible, as parking can be limited on weekends.

The civic hall is around 10-15 minutes walk from the restaurant venue, or a short taxi ride. The restaurant and pub are then a similar distance apart.

We have planned this as an adult-only celebration. We hope you understand and can arrange childcare for the day.

There will be vegan and vegetarian options at the restaurant; for other requirements, please specify in the RSVP and we will try to make the best arrangements we can with the venue.

The pub venue has a food menu available for you to order from if you wish, but there will not be any additional food served as part of the wedding.

We have hired a professional photographer and videographer to capture our special day, so we kindly ask that you refrain from taking photos or videos during the ceremony. Please feel free to take photos and videos during the reception and party!
